Google Domains was Google’s domain registration service, but Google sold the business to Squarespace, which completed the transition of customer accounts to Squarespace Domains. It’s no longer an active, independently operated Google product; domain registration and account management now run through Squarespace instead. Any historical content describing it as a current Google service is out of date.
Who It’s For
Before promoting this program, confirm with the affiliate network or Squarespace directly whether a “Google Domains” program still exists in any form, since the underlying product and branding have moved to Squarespace Domains. Content referencing Google Domains should be updated to reflect the Squarespace transition rather than presented as an ongoing standalone Google offering.
